The Cherokee Legion, Camp 914, Sons of Confederate Veterans, 2nd Brigade ("The Blue Ridge Brigade"), Georgia Division, Army of Tennessee, is based in Cherokee County, Georgia. The "Camp" meets every 3rd Saturday morning, with some exceptions, at 9:00 a.m. at the Cherokee County Historical Society "Rock Barn" in Canton. The Cherokee Legion
is part of the 2nd Brigade of the Georgia Division, Army of Tennessee, of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. Membership in the Sons of Confederate Veterans is open to all male descendants (12 years and older) of men who served honorably in the Confederate Army, Navy, or Marines.
