There's nothing like good barbecue, whether you prefer Carolina, Memphis, Kansas City, or Texas style. Here are a few of places we've had the pleasure to visit...

Georgia
  • JD's Barbecue
    One of the newest we've visited. Located at 6557 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA 30188. Phone 678-445-7730. We've tried the pulled pork, and the ribs, and will definitely be working our way through the menu on subsequent visits.
  • Sam & Dave's BBQ 1
    "A Cut Above." Located at 4944 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068. Phone 770-977-3005. Absolutely one of our favorites.
  • Dreamland

  • The Swallow at the Hollow

  • Sprayberry's Barbecue

  • Gilley's Barbecue

    Highway 5, 1 mile north of Ballground, Georgia. Open Thursday - Sunday only. No website. 770-735-2900.
  • Old South Bar-B-Q
    On the corner of Windy Hill Road & Burbank Circle (one block east of South Cobb Drive), Smyrna, GA. 770-435-4215.
  • Shane's Rib Shack

  • Williamson Brothers BBQ

  • Corky's - (local store now out of business)

  • Smokey Bones
    The location we visited has since gone out of business; other locations have done the same. The chain, however, appears to still have locations open. Do a google search for the location nearest you.
