In Memory

We salute the memory of Compatriot and Sergeant-at-Arms Jerry Wood. Jerry suffered a heart attack on August 8th, 2006.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9th, 2006, at Huey Funeral Home in Canton, with concluding services at Macedonia Memorial Park in Canton. Pallbearers included Cherokee Legion Commander Karl Haun and Compatriot Jerry Bishop.

Jerry will be sorely missed by every member of the Cherokee Legion, Camp 914, Georgia Division, SCV, and by all those who are active in the Sons of Confederate Veterans.
